How to Pop Shove-it on a Skateboard
Skateboarding · Pop Shove-it
Popping the board and making it spin underneath you without turning your body.
Step-by-step instructions
- Stance. Feet in an ollie position. Back foot on the tail, front foot behind the bolts.
- Pop and scoop. Pop the tail and scoop your back foot backward so the board rotates 180° under you.
- Stay over it. Keep your body in place; let the board spin and land on it.
Tips for success
The scoop is key—back foot sweeps back. Don't turn your shoulders. Practice on carpet or grass first.
