How to Boardslide on a Skateboard

Sliding the middle of the deck along a rail or ledge.
Step-by-step instructions
- Approach. Ollie or approach at an angle (usually 90°) so the board lands with the deck on the rail or ledge.
- Land. Land with the rail or ledge under the middle of the board, between the trucks.
- Slide. Slide along, then pop or shift off and land on the ground.
Tips for success
Wax the rail or ledge if needed. Keep your weight centered. Commit to the slide.
