How to Boardslide on a Scooter

Sliding the center of the deck along a rail or ledge.

Step-by-step instructions

Approach. Approach at an angle (often 90°) so the deck can land on the rail or ledge.
Hop on. Bunny hop and land with the middle of the deck on the rail or ledge, between the wheels.
Slide. Slide along, then pop or shift off and land on the ground.

Wax helps. Land the deck flat on the obstacle. Commit and keep your weight centered.

Same idea—slide the middle of the deck on the obstacle. Scooter deck is smaller; the motion is similar.
