A cool park, with something for every skater.
The old comments should be removed, as they are comments about the old skatepark, which is now gone. Instead, a brand new skatepark was completed in the spring of 2020.
I think it's pretty cool, but yes, it is slippery, but a lot of people go there every day.
As the others write: The surface is crap. It would be relatively easy to make it a cool park if they used the same cement for the banks as in the rest of the park. I really don't understand why they don't do that.
This park is a huge mistake; people from far away don't need to come because, as mentioned in the other three comments, it's crap with crap and more crap. I'm local there, and there is a cool rail and a couple of ledges that are nice. I think Tårnby municipality should consider renovating the park, correcting the mistakes, and bringing something fresher.
Exactly as the other two explain. But this park is my local skatepark, and after skating here twice, the park is terrible. They haven't thought about anything; there are no ramps, and things don't connect, which is pretty important when you're skating. In several places, there are holes at the end of the grinds, so if you don't jump off beforehand, you fall. Personally, I would give Tårnby skate park -1 out of 5.
It's not worth visiting for skaters or inline/rollerskaters. It's exactly as Anders Carlsen describes it: "Super bad for skateboarding." A waste of resources, and everyone I was with was equally disappointed and said it should be illegal to do such a poor job.
The park looks really cool in the pictures, but don't be fooled! This park is really poorly built... The surface is like gravel – super bad for skateboarding. They've skimped on the concrete on some of the manny pads, which is fine in itself. UNFORTUNATELY, they haven't managed to create smooth transitions from concrete to asphalt, and that must be said to be this park's biggest flaw. This park is trash and a waste of money.
