Horsens Skatepark, located in the heart of Horsens, Denmark, is an outdoor skating destination that caters to a variety of extreme sports enthusiasts. Situated at Tordenskjoldsgade 23, 8700 Horsens, this skatepark is open and welcomes skaters, BMX riders, inline skaters, and scooter enthusiasts alike. While the park may not appear meticulously maintained at first glance, its solid concrete construction ensures that all obstacles function as intended, making it a worthwhile visit for both novice and experienced riders.
Horsens Skatepark boasts an array of features designed to accommodate different skating styles and skill levels. The park includes a well-structured bowl that mimics a classic California swimming pool, offering two levels of depth for skaters looking to challenge themselves. Instead of traditional steel coping, the bowl is lined with cement ledges, providing a unique skating experience.
The street area features a variety of obstacles, including down ledges, a funbox, and movable practice rails, perfect for honing tricks and skills. A single stairset adds to the challenges available, while a raised asphalt section serves as a bank for those looking to gain speed and height. Although the street area could benefit from additional attention, it remains functional and engaging for skaters of all skill levels.
Horsens Skatepark is conveniently located in Horsens, easily accessible by car or public transportation. The park offers parking facilities for those driving in, making it a hassle-free destination for a day of skating. If you're traveling by public transit, local bus services provide routes that can get you close to the park, allowing for a short walk to the entrance.
When planning your visit to Horsens Skatepark, it's advisable to check the weather, as seasonal changes can bring leaves and debris into the park. While this may not deter seasoned skaters, beginners should be prepared for varying conditions. Bring your own water and snacks, as amenities may be limited. For those new to skating, the park's design offers a welcoming environment, making it a great place to practice and improve your skills. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Horsens Skatepark is definitely worth a visit for a day filled with excitement and adrenaline.

Nice skatepark if you're good 🤔👍
It's not nice to be there
Crusty as hell... if you're not from Horsens, the only reason to come is the pool, which has also become quite worn after many years of wind and weather.
